Hey guys. Hope you are doing well. In this post I would like to share with you my most favourite skincare products, which I use on daily basis and I am really happy with. I pay a lot of attention when it comes to my skin, as I think that it is important to keep it good looking, smooth and clean, especially when using make up or just by exposing to the polluted air around us every day. There are few products I really enjoy lately and which I have tried and can say work good for my type of skin. I have a normal skin and I have never been too sensitive, but sometimes it gets really dry, depending on the weather, clothes, makeup etc.

Dove DermaSpa Goodness Body Lotion

Skincare routine - aloe vera, rosemary, body lotion

This product from Dove is my favourite body lotion so far. It smells amazing and it makes my skin incredibly soft, even and moisturised. I use it every time after a shower to prevent the skin from drying out. The good thing about this body lotion is that not only smells incredible and does a good job, but it absorbs reasonably quick. I am very impatient when it comes to creams and lotions and get really annoyed if it takes 30 min for them to absorb and dry out. So this product by Dove works perfectly for me and it does an amazing job. I highly recommend it. Read more about the product here.

Rosemary oil – much more then an aromatic herb

Skincare routine - aloe vera, rosemary, body lotion

Sacred by ancient civilizations, Rosemary is one of the most powerful herbs and essential oils on this planet. It has lots of benefits and it has been used in folk medicine for many many years. It helps relieve muscle pains and aches, improves memory and the thing I use it for – hair growth. As I have mentioned in my previous post about the Castor oil hair mask for growing and thickening, rosemary oil is part of it, due to its beneficial properties for the scalp and the hair. It helps stimulate hair growth, but also cures dandruff and baldness and prevents hair loss. It has been proven by different researches that rosemary boosts the hair growth. Plus, it smells incredible and it makes my hair mask get a whole new scent, which I enjoy having on my hair for few hours.

Aloe vera gel – a must in my daily face skincare routine

Skincare routine - aloe vera, rosemary, body lotion

Dating back to ancien Egypt, this plant, also known as “the plan of immortality”, is the best thing I have used for the skin on my face. I use it every day, after I have removed my makeup. Here I would like to say that I made my own makeup removal mixture of – 50/50 castor oil and avocado oil (the recipe I got from a friend – check her blog http://www.fruityandveggie.com/ for more skin and health advice). I remove my makeup with this and after I have made my facial for the day with a hot towel and have washed it off with cold water (to close the pores), I apply Aloe Vera gel. It hydrates my skin incredibly well and makes it glowing and clean. It is known to help heal wounds and it really does have a good effect on some acne scars or sids. I use it every single day and I would recommend it for keeping a good face skin condition. You can find it in many supermarkets or beauty stores and it has to be a 99% aloe vera gel.

Aloe vera cream – the hands saviour

Skincare routine - aloe vera, rosemary, body lotion

Again Aloe Vera – this incredible ancient plant, that works great for everything. I use it not only for my face as mentioned above, but I got this incredible hand cream as a gift from my cousin from Spain, which I use daily. My hands get dry very often, especially due to the windy weather we often experience in Denmark. This cream, with a high consistence of Aloe Vera, does miracles for my hands. It dries fast and moisturises very well, with an effect that endures the windy weather and can go for many hours. All in all, everything consisting Aloe Vera helps with moisturising, cleaning and hydrating.

That’s from me for now, guys. I hope you enjoyed this post and found it useful. Thanks for stopping by and talk to you soon. Have a lovely Thursday.

Much love <3
