5 ways I deal with stress

Stress – we experience it every day We all go through stressful situations, sometimes bigger, sometimes minor. But stress is a part of our life and it is often that a thing like a broken nail for example, can give us a tiny bit of stress. Even though many times it is not a huge thing, it still makes fill a tiny, short stress. I find it very important to be able to handle the stress and to get over it, so it doesn’t build up and lead to a more complicated issues and condition. Here are the 5 things that really help me relax and beat stress: Talk, talk, talk Talking to my closest people about what happened or why I feel bad have always been my number 1 to deal with stress and fear. I found out that not sharing and letting it out of my system is…

The 5 Years Experience – Living Abroad

Hey guys! Hope you are doing well. I know I have been MIA lately, but I had a busy summer with the family visiting from Bulgaria. I have been though preparing this post for a while. I decided to share with you my thoughts and experience about living abroad and the 5 years I have now spent in Denmark and how it changed me, my personality, vision and way of looking at life. August 2012 Yeah.. Exactly on this day, back in 2012, is when I first arrived in Denmark (time flies). I can’t believe it has been already 5 years ago, since a young 19 year old girl, having absolutely no clue where she is going and what to expect, arrived in the city of Aalborg. I have always wanted to study abroad, but I had no idea about Denmark as a country, culture and people. I knew it…

Summer Vibes

The Ocean – this is where my body connects with my soul 100%. I love summer and the freedom I feel every time I visit the beach and look at the non ending horizon in front of me. It is such a special feeling…I feel like I am detached from everything and the only thing that really matters is NOW – the precious moment of being there right now is what is all about. About feeling the enormous energy it gives, the great mental recharge it contributes for, and myself. Summer is when I totally connect with myself, when I have this beautiful scenery ahead of me. I think the everyday life can sometimes be a bit monotone and these small getaways at beautiful places is what really makes a difference for me. I feel so thankful to be able to enjoy this beauty and spend time with my loved…

Checking out Aalborg Street Food The Lighthouse

Hey guys! Hope you are doing well! Weekend was great for me – chilling, having fun and exploring new places. Some of you have probably heard, that Aalborg finally got its own Street Food Marked. <3 I have met the concept before in Aarhus and I was really pleased with it. So I got quite happy when I heard that it is coming to our city as well! The marked is placed at Skudehavnen in Vestbyen, which is quite perfect, cause we live just 3 minutes from there (could also be a bit dangerous with all the yummy food). 😀 Anyway, they have built it in an old factory, which quite fits the style and the concept of the place. Aalborg Street Food Marked for all The design of the place is, as the name suggests, street style. It really gives a cozy atmosphere and a chill vibe. I find it…

The Rituals of Sakura- home fragrance

Hey guys. Hope you are doing well. Lately, I have been so much into home fragrances and this post is dedicated in sharing with you an amazing brand I recently discovered – Rituals. This is not a sponsored post, just my honest opinion and experience with the products. I actually noticed the brand at a friend’s home and I was happy to find out that Aalborg has just gotten its own store. I went to check out the place and I was really pleased by the amazing products, customer service and atmosphere. I am a huge fan of good scents, so Rituals’ boutique really got me from the first time I went there. More then just a store The store has a great interior. Everything smells incredible, the light is dim, there is a nice meditating music going on, and one really feels transferred to another world. Most of their…

Aalborg Bloggers & Carré Jewellery Event in Aalborg

Hey guys! Happy Friday! Week is almost over and I am so much looking forward to the weekend! 😀 It has been quite a busy week, but in the same time, full of exciting events. One of them was the event organised by Aalborg Bloggers & Carré Jewellery in Aalborg, yesterday evening. I had a great time, learning more about the concept behind the brand, meeting new exciting people and looking at jewellery (something BIG for a huge jewellery fan like me). I can seriously spend few hours in a jewellery store, just looking. Yesterday’s OOTD For the event I choose a casual outfit – nothing too formal. My mood was not for super elegant dress up, so I think the casualty worked pretty fine as well. Here are some snaps of my outfit. Trench coat by Vila Clothes Blouse by Only Jeans by GinaTricot Blue sneakers by H&M Sparkles…

Copenhagen journey

Hey guys! Hope you are doing well. As you know, I went on a small trip to Copenhagen – to visit a friend and to have a little break from everything. I really needed a small vacation and change of surroundings, in order to energise myself with good mental energy and get recharged by great experience and new discoveries. <3 In this post I will shortly tell you about my trip, what we did, where we went and what my overall opinion about the city is. Pretty, pretty Copenhagen The capital of Denmark is really impressive. Once I step there, I can totally feel the vibe of the big city. As I have been living in a much smaller city during the last 5 years, Copenhagen seems so huge to me that I can easily get lost. I love the hustle and bustle, the people, the cultural diversity and the…

Off to Copenhagen <3

Hey guys! Hope you are doing well. I had a lovely weekend and a great start of the week, even though I was super busy finishing some tasks and getting ready for a small trip to CPH. I have only been in the capital once before and only for one day. I didn’t have the opportunity to visit for a longer period before, but here I am now, sitting in the train and going to spend the next few days in this beautiful danish city. I am visiting a friend, who lives there with her husband and child, and I am super excited to spend some time with them. I am lucky to have friends in CPH, where I can stay, when visiting the capital. What I am mostly excited about is to finally be able to stroll around the city, without having to hurry and try to see everything in…

Wine, tapas and Aalborg Karneval

Hey guys! Hope you had a good weekend and those of you who participated in Aalborg Karneval this year, had a blast. I definitely enjoyed myself a lot. Aalborg Karneval is a huge event in our city, happening annually and bringing lots of good mood, tourists and fun. This year again, the organization was great, the music was good, and there were some very creative people, that have put a lot of effort in making their costumes. Gatsby style vs Indian This year, I decided to choose the 20s as an inspiration for a costume and I am pretty satisfied with the result. I found out this Gatsby style really fits me and I got a lot of compliments for the look, even though I almost didn’t put any special effort in it, as I already had a black dress and needed just the accessories. J though put a lot of…

The Weekend’s Camera Roll

Hey guys! Hope you had a good weekend. <3 I spend mine in the countryside with Jonas and the in-laws and I am sharing few shots from my iPhone. It is absolutely amazing how great a person feels by getting away from the city. Being surrounded by nature, bird songs and the smell of spring is incredibly recharging and energy boosting. They live in the forest and I simply love spending time there as it is a total mental and creativity boost. I feel so much energised when I am there, willing to do things, I usually feel lazy to do in Aalborg. For example – running, haha! 😀 When your stamina is – level 0 I am seriously the worst when it comes to my training and there has been quite a while since I last hit the gym. But being there in the weekend I felt so motivated…
